Produce Bags extend the freshness of fruits, vegetables and flowers up to 5 times longer. Fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers start to ripen after being harvested because they release and sit in a plant hormone called ethylene gas. This eventually leads to spoilage. Produce Bags slow down the ripening rate by absorbing the ethylene gas from the atmosphere of plants, hence helping them to stay fresh. One pack contains 10 Produce Bags - 5 medium (9 x 15 inches) and 5 large (12 x 17 inches).
